How to Use Maggie's Farm Drain & Fruit Fly Killer
Drain Treatments: Kills the eggs and larvae of drain flies, fruit flies, sewer flies and moth flies. Also helps repel adult flies from laying eggs in drains.
For frequently used drains: Apply around the edges to allow the thickened formula to coat the sides of the drain. Apply 1 to 2 oz per drain. For garbage disposals apply 2 oz. For best results, do not use drain for at least one hour after treatment, or ideally allow to sit overnight. Reapply as necessary.
For infrequently used drains: To help prevent flies and odors from coming up from the sewer system, first pour 1 to 2 quarts of water in the drain then apply 1 to 2 oz of the Drain & Fruit Fly Killer. To help keep the trap from drying out, apply 1-2 oz of vegetable oil or mineral oil to the drain. Do not flush with water after application of product and oil. If drain gets used, reapply the treatment.
Spray Treatments: Put a standard sprayer top on the bottle or transfer to a spray bottle. Spray areas that attract flies such as trash bins and kennel areas. Do not spray on pets directly.
