Home Bug Spray
For an active pest problem – Spray Home Bug Spray on the pests directly. Contact as many pests as possible. If also using the Maggie’s Farm No Spill Ant Kill Bait, Ant Killer Bait, or Roach Killer Gel Bait, it is important not to spray Home Bug Spray in the same area as the bait stations. This product is a contact killer and repellent, so you want to be sure not to repel pests from an area where you put down bait.
For preventative treatments – Apply a 2 to 3 foot band on the foundation. Also apply around window frames and doorways, around vents, openings where utilities enter the home and other possible entry points.

No Spill Ant Kill
For an active pest problem – Place stations in areas inaccessible to children and pets where ants are seen. Often, invading ants nest outdoors. It will help to bait outside, close to where ants are found entering the structure. Ants normally follow specific trails from the nest to food or water. Placing No Spill Ant Kill stations close to these trails will improve control.
For preventative treatments – For a perimeter defense system, place bait stations near the foundation or where ant trails are found. Spacing the bait stations every 5 to 10 feet around the perimeter will provide the best results.
*Please note that you should not use insecticide sprays in and/or near areas where bait has been placed. It is important to allow the target pest to find and take the bait placement back to the colony.
Spider & Insect Dust
For an active pest problem – Apply dust directly to nests and infested wall voids. Apply, as a light dusting, at a rate of about 2 oz per 100 sq ft. If directly treating a nest or an area with a number of pests present, a heavier dusting is recommended.
For preventative treatments – Dusts tend to work slower than sprays, but they tend to last much longer, up to 6 months. They are good for applying to places spiders and insects hide and to places where pests might enter a building.
