DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Always read label directions and precautions prior to use. Shake well before use and periodically during use.

Ready-to-use. Do not dilute. This product can be used indoors and outdoors.

Spray Nozzle Adjustments: The spray nozzle has a wide mist setting and a narrow straight stream setting. The mist setting is best when spraying a larger area and for covering a number of insects from fairly close range. The straight stream setting is best for spraying from a distance, at a nest, or injecting into cracks or wood-destroying insect tunnels and galleries.

Note: Don’t use this product in the same area where you’ve used a Maggie’s Farm insect bait. Baits work by the insect eating them. This product is a contact killer and repellent, so you want to be sure not to repel insects from an area where you put down bait.

Crawling Insect Treatment: For ants, boxelder bugs, centipedes, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, firebrats, millipedes, pill bugs, silverfish, spiders, springtails and ticks, spray as many insects as possible. Spray until damp, but not running off. You can also treat areas where pests tend to congregate, rest, or hide. Repeat as necessary.

Flying Insect Treatment: To kill flies, lady beetles, mosquitoes and moths, direct spray at flying insects and contact as many as possible. For best results, spray insects when they are resting to get the best spray coverage possible. When using indoors, wipe up excess. You can also treat areas where pests tend to land, rest or congregate. Repeat as necessary.

Bed Bug Treatment: This product will provide contact kill of bed bugs and fleas. Before applying to mattresses or large areas in occupied rooms, ensure that the product scent is not objectionable as it may take a few days to dissipate. Use Maggie's Farm Bed Bug & Flea Killer for less fragrance. Inspect infested areas and spray any insects you find. Apply in cracks in bed frame and around baseboards, picture frames, and door and window frames in infested areas. First vacuum rugs and carpets, then apply as a surface spray in infested areas. For upholstered furniture, apply to folds, tufts and beneath seat cushions. Spray until wet but not soaking. Wash and dry bedding on high heat. Apply to tufts, seams and edges of mattresses only, not entire surface. Allow the spray to dry before using the mattress. Launder or replace infested pet bedding. For persistent infestations consult a pest control professional. Launder on high heat or replace bedding or pet bedding in infested areas.

Outdoor Perimeter Applications: Apply around window frames and doorways, around vents, openings where utilities enter the home, and other possible pest entry points. Apply around the edges of decks and patios. For spiders, spray corners and edges on the underside of covered porches, overhangs, garages, sheds and unfinished basements. To help prevent pest entry, remove debris and leaf litter from around the foundation, cut back vegetation and branches that touch the house and remove or rake back deep mulch, rocks or other potential pest harborage sites next to the foundation.

Carpenter Ants: The most effective control for any ant species is to locate and treat the nest(s) if possible. When you find a nest, spray until wet with the product. Repeat if there is still activity a day or two later. If carpenter ants have infested wood or wall voids, use straight stream nozzle setting and inject the product through an existing opening or drill a small hole(s) so that you can reach the nest with the product.

Other Wood-Infesting Insects - Beetles and Borers, Termites, Carpenter Bees and Wood Wasps: Find areas where pests have infested including tunnels, galleries, and cavities, and using the straight stream nozzle setting, inject product until the area is moist. Drill small holes 8-10” apart in the infested area to be sure galleries can be treated thoroughly. For Carpenter bees, treat the entrance holes and then plug with stainless steel wool. For termites, this product is only a supplemental treatment to kill workers and winged swarmers that are sprayed directly. It is not a substitute for a professional treatment. For any infestation of a wood-destroying pest where structural damage has occurred or could occur, consult a pest control professional.
