To apply to face, first spray a small amount in the palm of your hand and then spread on face and neck. Do not spray eyes or mouth directly. Do not apply to clothing as product may cause staining. Reapply every 2 hours or as needed. May also be used on dogs, horses and other animals. Do not use on cats, birds or reptiles. Avoid the eyes, nose/nostrils and genitals when applying on animals.
A. Yes, the Natural bug spray is labelled for use on animals such as dogs, horses, and other animals, but cannot be used on cats, birds, or reptiles (as these animals are more sensitive to the plant oils in the product). As with any repellent product, it is important to follow the label's "Directions for Use" carefully.Q. How often do I need to reapply the Maggie’s Farm Insect Repellent to protect against mosquito bites?
A. We recommend reapplying it every 2 hours or as neededQ. What is hemp seed oil that is listed as an inert ingredient?
A. Hemp seed oil comes from the small seeds of the Cannibus sativa plant, and is not the same as cannabidiol (CBD) oil. The vitamins and fatty acids in the hemp seed oil help to keep skin healthy and moisturized.
Q. What are the ingredients in Maggie’s Farm Natural Insect Repellent?
A. We’ve formulated a DEET-free alternative to conventional insect repellents using these botanical oils as the active ingredients: corn oil, soybean oil, geraniol, lemongrass oil, citronella oil, and clove oil, which all work very well at killing and repelling many kinds of bugs! The inert ingredients include isopropyl alcohol, glycerin, hemp seed oi, Vitamin E, and nitrogen (propellant).
See the Maggie’s Farm Natural Insect Repellent label for a full list of active and inert ingredients.
It works! I have issues with chemicals and have tried to use essential oils for over 30 years. You can only imagine my cheers when I found your products, ones I am not afraid to try, and thrilled with the results.
I love that the products are safe for kids and pets, and that there are no harsh chemicals or DEET.
IT REALLY WORKS and smells GREAT TOO!
I just bought a can along with a ouple of others to try it out since I seem to have developed an extreme allergic reaction to mosquito bites in the last year. I sprayed it on my most mosquito bitten areas: ankles, knees, elbows & neck, and not a bite in two days of working in the yard and landscape areas where I normally get eaten alive. It does not have the obnoxious smell of DEET and Picaridin repellents. I think I have found the winner.
Jungles of Florida
Unreal paddled thru some of the buggiest creeks and rivers ever in south FL this rainy season passed. All the bugs had teeth crazy stuff. Maggies worked I feel out of the other 2 top brands other paddlers bought at box store with deet , deep woods, picaridin, an what ever sells there product. Maggies Farm Works well and is all natural plus hemp oil vitamin E. Down fall depending on your sweat 2 -3 hrs need to reappy. who cares if it works. end of trip still had after 6 days an 5 nights 1/4 can left. other box store brands were asking me if I had any bug spray on night 4.
